Aunt Margaret across the pond

Myles has an aunt named Margaret who lives in England, who knits fabulously and made him a darling blanket. He's wearing it below, over the sleep 'n play that 'Auntie' Kenya gave him. In the 2nd picture, he's wearing a onesie that Aunt Margaret just sent him, in time for his growth spurt. He's in 3 month clothing now (has been for a couple of weeks) and he'll actually BE 3 months for real on Saturday. Time flies. I'm glad I'm taking tons of pictures because I can tell it's going to go quite fast from here on out. The first month crawls by. You think, "I'm never going to get to sleep again." And now, month 3, things are slipping by faster than I can imagine. I can't wait to see what's next. Not looking forward to teething while breastfeeding, though!

Snazzy Sunday - Wearing New duds from Monica

 Isn't he cute in these togs from Pam's friend, Monica, from Gaylord? Thanks Monica. He pooped the overalls in half a day, so we went through two of her outfits yesterday.  It all mixes and matches well. He was wearing the 2nd outfit when we webchatted with Mark's parents, for whom he put on quite a show.  They hadn't yet seen him at his kickiest, going at it in his Kick 'N Play bouncy seat, but he showed off on command. Here he is, flirting with my friend Darcy who stopped by.

 

 

 

I can hold things today - new toys

Myles has been gripping stuff lately, so today I tried giving him a rattle and he held it! Me and Mark spent 10 minutes giving him stuff and watching him hold it. He almost clocked himself with the big colorful rattle below, so I took a trip to Kmart (better baby toy selection than Target - who knew?) later in the day to get some toys and things to hold. He already had one soft toy, the Taggies yellow doggie in the third picture, that Loretta had just sent him, that we started playing with this weekend. He likes it, and it has lots of places to grab. He's growing by leaps and bounds - doing new stuff almost every couple of days for the last week, so don't be surprised if I do a lot of mini-updates.
